There was a minor upset when higher ranked Chieti (3-3) lost on the road to twelfth ranked Recanati (3-3) 85-79 on Sunday. Chieti trailed by 17 points after 3 quarters before a 26-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 79-85 at the end of the game. Recanati made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game.
