Regular Season Round 5: Lyon - Nantes 76-70

There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Nantes Reze (2-3) lost on the road to twelfth ranked Lyon (2-3) 76-70. It looked good early as Nantes Reze took an 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Lyon had a 20-7 second period charge getting the lead and Nantes Reze was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 70-76. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Nantes Reze to just 7 points in second quarter. The best player for the winners was point guard Bintou Dieme (164-84) who scored 22 points and 4 steals. Serbian point guard Milica Dabovic (173-82, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 19 points and 5 steals. Croatian center Emilija Podrug (190-79) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and the former international Sarah Michel (180-89) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests.
