Ramat Hasharon used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Netanya 67-49 on Monday night. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 42-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Ramat Hasharon outrebounded Elitzur Netanya 51-35 including 40 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Nikki Greene (193-90, college: Penn St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. Ramat Hasharon will meet Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Elitzur Netanya will play against Maccabi Ramat Hen and hopes to get finally their first victory.
