Regular Season Round 3: Ramat Hasharon - Elitzur Netanya 67-49

Ramat Hasharon used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Netanya 67-49 on Monday night. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 42-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Ramat Hasharon outrebounded Elitzur Netanya 51-35 including 40 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Nikki Greene (193-90, college: Penn St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. Her fellow American import point guard A'Dia Mathies (175-91, college: Kentucky) accounted for 19 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Ramat Hasharon's coach Reuven Noiberger used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Canadian forward Kalisha Keane (185-89, college: Michigan St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and American point guard Haiden Palmer (173, college: Gonzaga, agency: LBM Management) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Elitzur Netanya in the defeat. Ramat Hasharon will meet Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Elitzur Netanya will play against Maccabi Ramat Hen and hopes to get finally their first victory.
