There was a minor upset in Tarshicha where Hapoel Migd.H. (1-2) was defeated by Hasharon (1-2) 74-70 on Tuesday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Hasharon forced 21 Hapoel Migd.H. turnovers. Hapoel Migd.H. was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Jeremy Allen (193-88, college: FIU, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who scored 22 points and 5 assists. Forward Rhamel Brown (201-92, college: Manhattan, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds. Allen is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Kelly Beidler (199-88, college: Mt.St.Mary's) who recorded 26 points and 9 rebounds and Chris Gaston (201-89, college: Fordham) added 12 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Hasharon will face Elitzur Ramla at home in the next round.
