Whale used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Hangzhou 84-78 on Thursday night. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 25-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Whale dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Zhejiang Far East's 46.
