Regular Season Round 6: Melilla - Planasa NV 65-74

There was a small surprise when seventh ranked Planasa NV (4-2) won against on the road one of their biggest challengers Melilla Baloncesto (4-2) 74-65. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was power forward Ivan Garcia (207-86) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Pablo Almazan (203-89) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Planasa NV players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Enric Garrido (178-82) who recorded 21 points and 4 assists and power forward Devin Wright (203-86) added 15 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively. Planasa NV moved-up to third place, which they share with Breogan and Melilla. Planasa NV's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Palencia Baloncesto at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Melilla Baloncesto will play against Clinicas Rincon in Malaga and hope to win that game.
