There was a minor upset when higher ranked Zaglebie (2-5) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Rosa II Radom (2-5) 103-85 on Saturday. The game without a history. Rosa II Radom led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Rosa II Radom forced 19 Zaglebie turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Zaglebie was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Lukasz Bonarek (200-93, college: MSU-West Plains) fired 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Daniel Szymkiewicz (193-94) chipped in 20 points. Rosa II Radom's coach Karol Gutkowski used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Marek Piechowicz (201-88) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Pawel Bogdanowicz (197-87) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four Rosa II Radom and five Zaglebie players scored in double figures. Rosa II Radom moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Zaglebie. Rosa II Radom will face SKK Siedlce (#12) on the road in the next round.
