Regular Season Round 3: Oviedo - Araski AES 40-79

No shocking result in a game when Araski AES (2-1) crushed on the road Oviedo (0-3) 79-40 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Araski AES. Oviedo was better in fourth quarter 20-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Oviedo to just 4 points in first quarter and to 9 points in first half. It was a good game for center Laura Pardo (186-89) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. Itsaso Conde (185-96) contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Araski AES players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Eva Oliva (170-92) answered with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and center Carolina Hernando (184-85) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Oviedo. Araski AES will face Ibaizabal in Galdakao in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Oviedo will play on the road against Cafe Barco in Badajoz and hopes to get finally their first victory.
