Bottom-ranked Tortona managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of three consecutive loses. This time newly promoted Tortona won against tenth-ranked Latina Basket 80-69. The game was mostly controlled by Tortona. Latina Basket was better in third quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American Ramon Galloway (190-91, college: La Salle) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Paolo Rotondo (205-89, agency: Players Group) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American forward Kyle Austin (203-88, college: Cal-Riverside) answered with 19 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized American guard Michael Nardi (186-85, college: Villanova) added 10 points in the effort for Latina Basket. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tortona (2-5) moved-up to fourteenth place. Latina Basket lost their third game in a row. Latina Basket at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth position with four games lost. Tortona's next round opponent will be higher ranked Scafati (#12) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
