Panelefsiniakos' fans can celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat AEK Athens (1-4) 81-72 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 48-38 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Giannis Athanasoulas (202-87) nailed 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and American center Aaric Murray (208-89, college: Texas Southern) accounted for 13 points and 9 rebounds.
