Top ranked TYCO Rapla (5-2) recorded its second loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked BC Rakvere (4-3) 68-61. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of TYCO Rapla. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But TYCO Rapla won third quarter 19-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) fired 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. International point guard Sten-Timmu Sokk (183-89) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. Latvian forward Kristers Zeidaks (203-90, college: Grand Valley St.) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Rait-Riivo Laane (179-93) added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. BC Rakvere maintains fourth place with 4-3 record, which they share with Parnu. TYCO Rapla at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. BC Rakvere is looking forward to face TLU/Kalev in Tallinn in the next round. TYCO Rapla will play at home against Kalev/Cramo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
