Very expected game when 9th ranked MKK Siedlce (2-4) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Artego Bydg. (4-2) 82-65. The game was mostly controlled by Artego Bydg.. MKK Siedlce was better in second period 31-29. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for naturalized American point guard Julie McBride (165-82, college: Syracuse) who led her team to a victory with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American Amisha Carter (186-82, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Ukrainian forward Ganna Zarytska (182-86) replied with 16 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Bosnian center Emina Demirovic (186-85) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for MKK Siedlce. Artego Bydg. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Gorzow. MKK Siedlce lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. Artego Bydg.'s next round opponent will be league's second-placed CCC Polkowice at home and it may be the game of the week. MKK Siedlce will play against Rybnik (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
