Regular Season Round 6: AE Ellinikou - PAOK 75-51

The game between Top Four teams took place in Ellinikou. Top-ranked host AE Ellinikou (7-0) smashed 4th ranked PAOK (4-3) 75-51. The game was mostly controlled by AE Ellinikou. PAOK was better in second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding PAOK to just 5 points in third quarter. Swingman Stavroula Spanidou (179-84) added 9 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. AE Ellinikou have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 7-0 record. PAOK at the other side keeps the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Terpsithea. AE Ellinikou will play against Terpsithea (#5) in Glyfadas in the next round. PAOK will play at home against Panathinaikos and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
