An interesting game for Chiba Jets (6-4) which played road game in Wakayama against 4th placed Wakayama T. (3-7). Fourth ranked Chiba Jets had an easy win 75-60. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 47-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Chiba Jets forced 20 Wakayama T. turnovers. It was a good game for American forward Justin Burrell (207-88, college: St.John's) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds. The former international guard Fumio Nishimura (177-86) contributed with 11 points, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Chiba Jets' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and guard Yuu Abe (180-84) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Wakayama T.Chiba Jets moved-up to third place, which they share with Toyota Alvark. Wakayama T. lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Hyogo S.. Chiba Jets is looking forward to face league's second-placed Tochigi Brex on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Wakayama T. will play against the league's leader Aishin Sea Horses in Kariya and is hoping to win this game.
