Regular Season Round 7: Slask 2 Wroclaw - Rawia 75-53

There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Slask 2 Wroclaw (2-5) outleveled at home 8th ranked Rawia (2-4) 75-53 on Sunday. The game without a history. Slask 2 Wroclaw led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Rawia's 20. Slask 2 Wroclaw forced 20 Rawia turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Przemyslaw Gworek (195-90) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Artur Wnetrzak (193-95) helped adding 11 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side center Wojciech Suprun (203-82) responded with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Pawel Stankiewicz (195-82) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. Rawia's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Slask 2 Wroclaw maintains tenth place in Group D with 2-5 record. Newly promoted Rawia keeps the eighth position with four games lost. Slask 2 Wroclaw will face Koscian (#11) on the road in the next round.
