There was no surprise in Lublin where 6th ranked Ostrow Mazow. (2-4) was defeated by third ranked AZS UMCS (5-1) 91-77 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 9 points after three quarters before their 38-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Ostrow Mazow. was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for forward Adam Mysliwiec (200-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds. Swingman Dawid Mysliwiec (195-88) helped adding 18 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). AZS UMCS's coach Przemyslaw Luszczewski used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for AZS UMCS. They moved-up to second place in Group B. Ostrow Mazow. lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with four games lost. AZS UMCS will face Wisla Krakow (#5) on the road in the next round. Ostrow Mazow. will play against the league's leader Gimbasket Przemysl and hope to win that game.
