Very important is a road loss of second ranked Ravenna (5-2) against seventh ranked Chieti (4-3) on Sunday night. Visiting Ravenna was defeated by Chieti in Chieti 83-70. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ravenna. It looked good early as Ravenna took an 10-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Chieti took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 13 points. They made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Adam Sollazzo (198-90, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: Two Points) who led the winners and scored 28 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Marco Cardillo (196-85) accounted for 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Four Chieti players scored in double figures. Guard Matteo Tambone (193-94) came up with 21 points and American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) added 20 points respectively for Ravenna in the defeat. Chieti moved-up to third place, which they share with 6 other teams. Ravenna at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Chieti will play against Legnano (#10) in Castellanza in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ravenna will play at home against Naturhouse Ferrara (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
