Important game to mention about took place in Zielona Gora. Sixth ranked Stelmet (4-2) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 11th ranked Wilki Morskie (2-4) 71-68 on Sunday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Wilki Morskie. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 23-11 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American-Georgian swingman Quinton Hosley (201-84, college: Fresno St.) who scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. The former international swingman Przemyslaw Zamojski (193-86, college: Independence CC, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds. Stelmet's coach Andrzej Adamek used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Darrell Harris (205-84, college: Rhode Island) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 19 rebounds and the former international swingman Pawel Kikowski (193-86) added 15 points respectively. Stelmet moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Rosa Radom and Asseco. Newly promoted Wilki Morskie dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Stelmet will face Trefl (#13) in Sopot in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Wilki Morskie will play at home against Energa Czarni and hope to win that game.
