Very expected game when 10th ranked Taby Basket (1-5) was crushed on the road by fourth ranked 08 Stockholm (5-1) 101-71 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by 08 Stockholm. Taby Basket was better in fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 08 Stockholm forced 21 Taby Basket turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Taby Basket was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Jonas Ehlde (-92) scored 23 points to lead the charge for the winners and forward Simon Forsberg (197-90) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Marcus Friman with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and guard Mattias Herlitz (190-94) scored 9 points and 9 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. 08 Stockholm moved-up to third place in North, which they share with KFUM Uppsala. Taby Basket lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with five games lost. 08 Stockholm will face BG Lulea (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
