There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked Dolomiti En. TR (2-3) won against on the road 10th ranked Cimberio Varese (2-3) 76-70 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 21-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American power forward Josh Owens (203-88, college: Stanford) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 9 rebounds. International forward Davide Pascolo (201-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Dolomiti En. TR's coach Maurizio Buscaglia used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Dawan Robinson (188-82, college: Rhode Island) answered with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and French Yakhouba Diawara (201-82, college: Pepperdine) added 22 points in the effort for Cimberio Varese. Dolomiti En. TR moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Cimberio Varese. Cimberio Varese lost third consecutive game. Dolomiti En. TR will face Tuscany Pistoia (#11) at home in the next round.
