D1 top team - Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (4-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked Ramat Hasharon (1-3) 66-51. Ramat Hasharon was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Maccabi Ashdod. Ramat Hasharon at the other side dropped to the seventh place with three games lost. They share the position with Hap.Petah Tikva. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion will play against Maccabi Ramat Hen (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Ramat Hasharon will play against Bnot Hertzeliya to get more than just one victory in their record.
