Very expected game when 10th ranked Hapoel Eilat (1-5) was smashed by third ranked Maccabi Rishon (5-1) in Rishon Le-Zion 101-81 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Maccabi Rishon. Hapoel Eilat was better in fourth quarter 29-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Maccabi Rishon shot 62.5 percent from the field. Five Maccabi Rishon and four Hapoel Eilat players scored in double figures. Maccabi Rishon have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Ironi Nes-Ziona. Hapoel Eilat lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with five games lost. Maccabi Rishon will face Ironi Nahariya on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hapoel Eilat will play against the league's second-placed Ironi Nes-Ziona and hope to win that game.
