Regular Season Round 4: Tsmoki II - BGU Minsk 81-61

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of BGU Minsk (2-1) on the court of sixth ranked Tsmoki II on Tuesday night. Visitors were rolled over by Tsmoki II 81-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BGU Minsk. The game without a history. Tsmoki II led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They outrebounded BGU Minsk 43-30 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by BGU Minsk helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Yauheni Beliankou (197-95) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Siarhei Kazlou (203-95) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Tsmoki II's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Artem Kozlov (194-90) replied with 23 points and 7 rebounds and guard Andrei Tsyvinski (197-91) added 17 points in the effort for BGU Minsk. Tsmoki II have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Rubon. Newly promoted BGU Minsk dropped to the fifth position with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
