Regular Season Round 4: BGEU-RCOR - Rubon 63-84

Bottom-ranked BGEU-RCOR is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to fifth ranked Rubon (3-1) 84-63 on Tuesday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Rubon. BGEU-RCOR managed to win fourth quarter 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rubon dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to BGEU-RCOR's 40. Rubon forced 29 BGEU-RCOR turnovers and outrebounded them 51-32 including 20 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by forward Maksim Lyutych (200-97) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and forward Victor Ovsepyan (204-91) supported him with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Rubon players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds by forward Dmitry Borisenok (201-97) did not help to save the game for BGEU-RCOR. point guard Andrei Rogozenko (180-97) added 13 points and 5 steals for lost side. BGEU-RCOR's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Rubon moved-up to third place, which they share with Tsmoki II. Loser BGEU-RCOR still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Tsmoki III. Rubon will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BGEU-RCOR will play against Rubon II (#8) in Vitebsk and hopes to get finally their first victory.
