Regular Season Round 4: Rubon II - Tsmoki III 67-66

Rubon II's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after two consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat Tsmoki III (0-4) 67-66. It looked good early as Tsmoki III took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Rubon II had a 19-11 second period charge getting the lead and Tsmoki III was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 66-67. Rubon II forced 23 Tsmoki III turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Denis Vikentyev (201-98) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 20 rebounds and forward Egor Gil (195-96) who added 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Vlad Mikulskiy (188-98) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds and forward Gleb Pogrebickiy (196-98) scored 9 points and 13 rebounds. Tsmoki III's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rubon II (1-2) left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Impuls BGUIR. It was Tsmoki III's fourth loss in a row. Tsmoki III at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with BGEU-RCOR. Rubon II will play against BGEU-RCOR (#10) in Osipovichi in the next round. Tsmoki III will have a break next round.
