Regular Season Round 7: Palma - Burgos 93-88 OT

Burgos (#11) forced the game against Palma (#10) into an overtime, but lost by five points 88-93. Burgos was ahead by 15 points after three quarters before a 29-14 charge of Palma, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 12-7. Palma shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Sergio Llorente (188-90) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 assists. Italian guard Pablo Bertone (193-90, college: Florida Atlantic) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Palma's coach Angel Cepeda allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Austrian Anton Maresch (191-91, agency: Two Points) answered with 20 points and forward Miguel Feliu (199-85) added 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Burgos. Five Palma and four Burgos players scored in double figures. Palma (4-3) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Burgos at the other side keeps the eleventh position with four games lost. Palma's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from S'Arenal Palma.
