Extraliga top team - Inter Bratislava (10-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked SKP Banska Bystrica (3-8) 82-63. The game was mostly controlled by Inter Bratislava. SKP Banska Bystrica was better in third quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Inter Bratislava made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. The winners were led by the former international power forward Peter Sedmak (207-85, agency: 011 Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and international point guard Nenad Milosevic (190-83, agency: 011 Sports) supported him with 18 points and 5 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 5 rebounds by Serbian swingman Milic Blagojevic (200-91) did not help to save the game for SKP Banska Bystrica. International guard Richard Korner (197-90) added 8 points and 7 rebounds. Defending champion maintains first position with 10-2 record. SKP Banska Bystrica at the other side keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. Inter Bratislava will play against Handlova (#5) at home in the next round. SKP Banska Bystrica will play against Iskra Svit and hopes to get back on the winning track.
