Regular Season Round 8: Tarvas - TLU/Kalev 89-67
Date: November 14, 2014
No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked BC Rakvere (5-3) crushed at home 7th ranked TLU/Kalev (2-6) 89-67 on Friday. The game without a history. BC Rakvere led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. BC Rakvere had a 34-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) who scored that evening 19 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import forward David Haughton (198-91, college: Purchase) supported him with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Five BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds by forward Erik Luts (201-86) did not help to save the game for TLU/Kalev. Center Henry-Edward Aimre (201-92) added 9 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BC Rakvere moved-up to third place, which they share with Rapla. Loser TLU/Kalev keeps the seventh position with six games lost. BC Rakvere will meet at home TTU (#6) in the next round. TLU/Kalev will have a break next round.
