Regular Season Round 5: Prinemanye - Borisfen 55-90

Bottom-ranked Prinemanye (0-4) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to sixth ranked Borisfen (3-2) 90-55 on Friday evening. The game without a history. Borisfen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Prinemanye to just 6 points in second quarter. Borisfen made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game, while Prinemanye only scored three points from the stripe. Borisfen forced 24 Prinemanye turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Evgeni Sugonyako (199-92) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Ukrainian center Maksym Kozlovets (205-90) chipped in 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Guard Pavel Suvorov (185-95) produced 18 points and 6 rebounds and guard Yauheni Drobau (183-94) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Borisfen moved-up to fifth place. Prinemanye lost their fourth game in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Tsmoki III. Borisfen will meet at home Impuls BGUIR (#7) in the next round. Prinemanye's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Grodno Grodno-93.
