Very expected game in Lund where 7th ranked Talje Knights (2-4) were rolled over by third ranked IK Eos (5-1) 89-50. IK Eos well out of reach of Talje Knights shooting 74.3 percent from the field. They also forced 29 Talje Knights turnovers and outrebounded them 49-29 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. IK Eos players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Talje Knights' players. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for guard Gustav Nystrom (190-89, college: Hope) who led the winners and scored 8 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals. Guard Christoffer Henriks (186-92) accounted for 8 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. Samuel Berkelund (201-97) came up with 14 points and point guard Henrik Sjolin (178-97) added 11 points respectively for Talje Knights in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. IK Eos moved-up to second place in South, which they share with Huddinge. Talje Knights at the other side dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. IK Eos' next round opponent will be Sanda Basket (#9) in Huskvarna and are hoping to win another game. Talje Knights will play on the road against Haga Haninge and hope to win that game.
