Regular Season Round 8: Nysa Klodzko - Sudety 112-82

No shocking result in a game in Kloszko where top-ranked Nysa Klodzko (7-0) smashed 7th ranked Sudety (3-5) 112-82 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Nysa Klodzko. Sudety was better in fourth quarter 32-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Nysa Klodzko dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Sudety's 42. They outrebounded Sudety 38-13 including a 28-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nysa Klodzko looked well-organized offensively handing out 42 assists comparing to just 24 passes made by Sudety's players. The best player for the winners was center Jaroslaw Bartkowiak (201-85) who scored 24 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). Guard Michal Weiss (188-82) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Guard Lukasz Niesobski (185-85) produced 20 points and 7 assists and power forward Pawel Minciel (203-88) added 21 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Five Nysa Klodzko and four Sudety players scored in double figures. Nysa Klodzko have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of Group D leader, which they share with Gornik. Loser Sudety keeps the seventh place with five games lost. Nysa Klodzko will face league's leader Gornik in Walbrzych in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sudety will play at home against Rawia (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
