There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Panelefsiniakos (2-4) defeated on the road 8th ranked Aiolos Trikallon (2-4) 70-65. The guests were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 19-13 run, which allowed them to win the game. Panelefsiniakos forced 19 Aiolos Trikallon turnovers. It was a good game for American guard Elijah Johnson (183-90, college: Kansas) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import center Aaric Murray (208-89, college: Texas Southern) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized American center Steve Panos (206-88, college: Weber St.) replied with 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American guard Nate Bowie (183-86, college: Cent.Arkansas, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points and 5 assists in the effort for Aiolos Trikallon. Four Aiolos Trikallon players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
