Regular Season Round 8: Wisla Krakow - AZS UMCS 74-77

Important game to mention about took place in Krakow. Second ranked AZS UMCS (6-1) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Wisla Krakow (4-3) 77-74 on Saturday evening. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Wisla Krakow was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Adam Mysliwiec (200-90) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Swingman Dawid Mysliwiec (195-88) contributed with 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four AZS UMCS players scored in double figures. point guard Kacper Majka (180-97) replied with 16 points and guard Jakub Krawczyk (191-91) added 13 points in the effort for Wisla Krakow. Wisla Krakow's coach Lukasz Kasperzec tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. AZS UMCS have an impressive five-game winning streak. Newly promoted AZS UMCS maintains second position in Group B with 6-1 record behind leader Gornik. Wisla Krakow at the other side dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Ksiezak Lowicz. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
