The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Batumi's (1-3) road loss to fourth ranked MIA (3-1) 70-85 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by MIA. Batumi managed to win fourth quarter 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. International center Giorgi Sharabidze (210-90) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. MIA moved-up to second place, which they share with Rustavi and Kutaisi. Loser Batumi keeps the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with Mgzavrebi and Olimpi. MIA's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi Olimpi.
