Worth to mention a great performance of guard Alex Llorca (192-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Daniel Lopez (187-82) who added 17 points and 4 assists during the contest. Power forward Eduard Gatell (206-89) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American swingman Spencer Butterfield (190-92, college: Utah St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) scored 20 points. Five Melilla Baloncesto players scored in double figures. Leche Rio Breogan moved-up to second place, which they share with Palencia. Melilla Baloncesto lost third consecutive game. Loser Melilla Baloncesto keeps the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Oviedo and Palma. Leche Rio Breogan will meet at home bottom-ranked Clinicas Rincon (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Melilla Baloncesto will play against Palencia Baloncesto (#3) and hope to secure a win.
