Very important is a home loss of third ranked Angelico Biella (4-4) against tenth ranked Mantovana (4-4) on Sunday night. Host Angelico Biella was defeated by Mantovana in Biella 95-85. The game was mostly controlled by Mantovana. Angelico Biella was better in fourth quarter 32-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Angelico Biella 36-23 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Mantovana especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Roberto Rullo (192-90) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 rebounds and American power forward Johndre Jefferson (207-88, college: S.Carolina, agency: Three Eye Sports) who added 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. American swingman Benjamin Raymond (198-87, college: Xavier, agency: KMG Sports Management) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and American-Danish guard Alan Voskuil (191-86, college: Texas Tech) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Mantovana and four Angelico Biella players scored in double figures. Angelico Biella's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Mantovana moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Angelico Biella. Mantovana will play against higher ranked Manital Torino (#4) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Angelico Biella will play against CZG Veroli and hopes to get back on the winning track.
