Regular Season Round 7: Bayi R. - Foshan LL 93-98

Bottom-ranked Bayi Rockets (0-7) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 98-93 loss to thirteenth ranked Foshan (3-4) in Ningbo. Bayi Rockets were ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 22-10 charge of Foshan, which allowed them to win the game. They made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for Ukrainian center Viacheslav Kravtsov (211-87, agency: Beo Basket) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 21 rebounds and 4 blocks. Forward Yuchen Zou (197-96) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks and the former international forward Lei Wang (203-86) added 27 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Bayi Rockets in the defeat. Foshan moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Bayi Rockets lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Foshan's next round opponent will be Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (#11) in Hangzhou. Bayi Rockets will play on the road against Sichuan BW (#16) and hope to get finally their first victory.
