Regular Season Round 7: BG Lulea - 08 62-71

Date: November 16, 2014
Bottom-ranked BG Lulea (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 71-62 loss to fourth ranked 08 Stockholm (6-1) in Lulea on Sunday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. 08 Stockholm forced 21 BG Lulea turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for forward Simon Forsberg (197-90) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Joel Porscke (191-91) helped adding 18 points. Four 08 Stockholm players scored in double figures. 08 Stockholm's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side guard Anton Kobylak-Berglund (197-96) responded with 18 points and guard Joel Svensson (184-94) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. 08 Stockholm moved-up to second place in North, which they share with KFUM Uppsala and Fryshuset. BG Lulea lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. 08 Stockholm will meet at home KFUM Blackebergs (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BG Lulea will play against Taby Basket and hopes to get finally their first victory.
