Bottom-ranked Amsterdam (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 85-56 loss to sixth ranked Groningen (4-4) in Amsterdam. The game without a history. Groningen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game.
