Date: November 16, 2014
The game in Sydney supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Perth Wildcats (6-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Kings (3-4). Perth Wildcats did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 85-66 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kings. The game without a history. Perth Wildcats led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. American guard Jermaine Beal (191-87, college: Vanderbilt) notched 27 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward DeAndre Daniels (206-92, college: Connecticut) supported him with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Four Perth Wildcats players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds by American swingman Josh Childress (203-83, college: Stanford) did not help to save the game for Kings. Forward Tom Garlepp (203-86, college: UCSB) added 15 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Perth Wildcats have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Taipans. Loser Kings keep the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with 36ers.
