Very expected game when 13th ranked Trieste (1-7) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Cagliari CUS (5-3) 83-71 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Cagliari CUS. Trieste managed to win second period 28-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American guard Tricia Liston (185-92, college: Duke) who scored 32 points and 6 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field).
