Cagliari A. (#4) forced the game against Vicenza (#3) into an overtime, but lost by eight points 71-79 on Sunday night. The game took place in Cagliari. But the guests from Vicenza were better at the end. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 22-18 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 12-4. Vicenza maintains third position in A2 with 6-1 record having just -1 victories less than leader San Giovanni. Cagliari A. at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Vicenza will face league's second-placed Ferrara at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Cagliari A. will play against Biassono and hope to win that game.
