The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Limoges CSP Elite as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Limoges CSP Elite defeated 6th ranked JDA Dijon at home 78-67. The game was mostly controlled by Limoges CSP Elite. JDA Dijon managed to win third quarter 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded JDA Dijon 36-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. Limoges CSP Elite looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by JDA Dijon's players. American point guard Erving Walker (173-90, college: Florida, agency: Two Points) responded with 10 points and 7 assists and his fellow American import point guard Steven Gray (195-89, college: Gonzaga) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Limoges CSP Elite have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Strasbourg. JDA Dijon at the other side dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with 5 other teams. JDA Dijon will play next round against STB Le Havre trying to get back on the winning streak. Limoges CSP Elite will try to continue on its current victory against seventeenth ranked JL Bourg at home.
