Regular Season Round 9: Audentese/N. - TTU 62-96

Bottom-ranked Audentese/N. (0-5) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to sixth ranked TTU (4-5) 96-62 on Tuesday evening. The game without a history. TTU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Audentese/N.'s 36. TTU forced 24 Audentese/N. turnovers and outrebounded them 46-28 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Siim Raudla (190-90) who scored 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Swingman Jaan Puidet (191-92) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). At the other side the best for losing team was forward Karl-Robin Jurjens (202-96) who recorded 10 points and guard Kristian Kullamae (186-99) added 9 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TTU maintains sixth place with 4-5 record. Newly promoted Audentese/N. still closes the standings with five games lost. TTU will meet at home league's leader TU/Rock in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Audentese/N.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tallinn to the arena Kalev/Cramo.
