Regular Season Round 6: Tsmoki II - BGEU-RCOR 84-58

Bottom-ranked BGEU-RCOR (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 84-58 loss to third ranked Tsmoki II (5-1) in Minsk on Wednesday evening. The game without a history. Tsmoki II led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to BGEU-RCOR's 32. Tsmoki II forced 26 BGEU-RCOR turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Power forward Siarhei Kazlou (203-95) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Kiryl Chumakou (197-95) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Five Tsmoki II players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Dmitry Borisenok (201-97) with 12 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Andrei Rogozenko (180-97) scored 9 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tsmoki II have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 5-1 record behind leader GOCOR-Sozh. Loser BGEU-RCOR still closes the standings with six games lost. Tsmoki II will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BGEU-RCOR will play against the league's second-placed Grodno-93 (#2) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
