Regular Season Round 8: 08 - KFUM Blackeberg 99-75

Very expected game when 11th ranked KFUM Blackebergs (1-7) were smashed on the road by third ranked 08 Stockholm (7-1) 99-75 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by 08 Stockholm. KFUM Blackebergs was better in third quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded KFUM Blackebergs 43-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. 08 Stockholm looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by KFUM Blackebergs' players. Forward Joel Porscke (191-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 6 rebounds. Jonas Ehlde (-92) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four 08 Stockholm players scored in double figures. Guard Robin Ryan (191-87) replied with 22 points and Nuhic Amer added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for KFUM Blackebergs. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. 08 Stockholm have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of North leader, which they share with Alvik Basket and Fryshuset. KFUM Blackebergs lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with seven games lost. 08 Stockholm will face Orongo Dragons (#7) in Sundsvall in the next round where they are favorite.
