Very expected game in Sao Paulo where 14th ranked SKY/Basquete (1-4) was defeated by ninth ranked Palmeiras (3-2) 94-87 on Friday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But SKY/Basquete won fourth quarter 27-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Palmeiras dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to SKY/Basquete's 30. They outrebounded SKY/Basquete 41-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Five SKY/Basquete players scored in double figures. Palmeiras moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser SKY/Basquete keeps the fourteenth position with four games lost.
