CBA top team - Liaoning Hunters (10-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Jiangsu Dragons (4-5) in Yingkou 129-101. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Jiangsu Dragons. The game without a history. Liaoning Hunters led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Jiangsu Dragons' 46 and made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Liaoning Hunters forced 20 Jiangsu Dragons turnovers and outrebounded them 48-33 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) stepped up and scored 27 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward Deon Thompson (203-88, college: N.Carolina) chipped in 24 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American point guard Toney Douglas (188-86, college: Florida St.) with 26 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Li Yang (194-85) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Liaoning Hunters have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Jiangsu Dragons at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost. They share it with TianJin S. and Foshan LL. Liaoning Hunters are looking forward to face DongGuan Leopards (#5) on the road in the next round. Jiangsu Dragons will play against TianJin Steel (#13) in Tianjin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
