Regular Season Round 9: Tarvas - TTU 80-76

Rather expected game when 6th ranked TTU (4-5) was defeated on the road by third ranked BC Rakvere (6-3) 80-76 on Friday. TTU trailed by 17 points after 3 quarters before a 23-10 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 76-80 at the end of the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) who scored 24 points. International point guard Sten-Timmu Sokk (183-89) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Jaan Puidet (191-92) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international power forward Kristjan Makke (205-81, college: W.Illinois) added 28 points respectively. BC Rakvere have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. TTU at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. BC Rakvere will meet league's leader TU/Rock in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. TTU will play against the league's leader TU/Rock (#1) and hope to secure a win.
