The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Norrkoping Dolphins as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Norrkoping Dolphins defeated 4th placed Sodertalje Kings at home 79-70. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sodertalje Kings. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-17. But Sodertalje Kings won second period 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American forward Dominique Morrison (198-89, college: ORU) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Mikael Lindquist (193-83) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Croatian forward Toni Bizaca (202-82, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who recorded 17 points and 4 assists and international guard Chris Czerapowicz (201-91, college: Davidson, agency: Two Points) added 17 points respectively. Sodertalje Kings' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Boras. Defending champion Sodertalje Kings keep the fourth place with three games lost. Sodertalje Kings will play next round against Nassjo trying to get back on the winning streak. Norrkoping Dolphins will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Boras Basket on the road.
